Card Game
Blackjack MH is kirkay's multi-hand blackjack variant — play up to five hands at once against the dealer, with real stakes and a house edge that rewards players who know basic strategy.
About the Game
Blackjack MH stands for Multi-Hand Blackjack. The core rules are the same as standard blackjack — get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over — but the multi-hand format lets you play up to five separate hands in a single round. Each hand is independent, so a bad result on one does not affect the others.
On kirkay, Blackjack MH uses an eight-deck shoe that is reshuffled after each round. This means card counting does not apply, which keeps the game fair for everyone at the table. The dealer stands on soft 17, which is one of the more player-friendly rule sets you will find in online blackjack.
The multi-hand format is what makes this version genuinely interesting. When you are running basic strategy correctly, playing five hands at once gives you more decisions per session and smooths out the natural variance of the game. A single unlucky hand does not define your round the way it would in a single-hand game.
Kirkay offers Blackjack MH at a range of stake levels, so whether you are a casual player who wants to enjoy a few rounds without risking much, or a more serious player who wants to put real money on the table, there is a seat available for you.
Card Values
If you are new to blackjack, the card values are straightforward. Number cards are worth their face value. Face cards — Jack, Queen, King — are all worth 10. The Ace is the flexible card: it counts as either 1 or 11, whichever is better for your hand at that moment.
A "soft" hand is any hand containing an Ace counted as 11. A "hard" hand is one where the Ace must count as 1 to avoid busting, or a hand with no Ace at all. This distinction matters because the correct strategy differs between soft and hard totals.
A natural blackjack — an Ace plus any 10-value card as your first two cards — pays 3:2 on kirkay's Blackjack MH. That means a 100 BDT bet returns 150 BDT in profit on a blackjack, which is the standard and most player -friendly payout available.
Always check that the table you are sitting at pays 3:2 for blackjack, not 6:5. The difference significantly affects your long-term results. All Blackjack MH tables on kirkay pay the full 3:2.
| Card | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2 – 9 | Face Value | A 7 is worth 7, a 4 is worth 4, and so on. |
| 10 | 10 | Worth exactly 10 points. |
| Jack, Queen, King | 10 each | All face cards count as 10 regardless of suit. |
| Ace | 1 or 11 | Counts as 11 unless that would bust your hand, then counts as 1. |
| Natural Blackjack | Pays 3:2 | Ace + any 10-value card on your first two cards. |
| Regular Win | Pays 1:1 | Your total beats the dealer without a natural blackjack. |
| Push (Tie) | Bet Returned | Your total matches the dealer's total exactly. |
Gameplay
Every decision in Blackjack MH comes down to four possible actions. Knowing when to use each one is the foundation of good play on kirkay.
Take another card from the dealer. Use this when your total is low and the risk of busting is manageable. Generally correct when your hand is 11 or below.
Keep your current total and end your turn. The dealer then plays their hand. Standing is usually correct on totals of 17 and above, or when the dealer shows a weak upcard.
Double your original bet and receive exactly one more card. This is a powerful move when you hold a total of 10 or 11 and the dealer is showing a weak card.
When your first two cards are a pair, split them into two separate hands, each with its own bet. Always split Aces and 8s. Never split 10s or 5s.
Basic Strategy
Basic strategy is a mathematically proven set of decisions that tells you the correct action for every possible hand combination in blackjack. Following it does not guarantee you win every hand — no strategy can do that — but it reduces the house edge to around 0.5%, which is one of the lowest of any casino game available on kirkay.
The table below covers the most common hard hand situations. The dealer's upcard is the single visible card the dealer shows before you make your decision.
| Your Hand Total | Dealer Shows 2–6 | Dealer Shows 7–Ace |
|---|---|---|
| 8 or less | Hit | Hit |
| 9 | Double | Hit |
| 10 | Double | Double |
| 11 | Double | Double |
| 12 | Stand | Hit |
| 13 – 16 | Stand | Hit |
| 17 or more | Stand | Stand |
H = Hit S = Stand D = Double Down
Extra Bets
Blackjack MH on kirkay includes optional side bets that give you a chance at bigger payouts on top of your main hand. They are entirely optional — you never have to place them — but they add variety to longer sessions.
Bet that your first two cards will be a pair. A mixed-colour pair pays 5:1, a same-colour pair pays 12:1, and a perfect pair (same suit) pays 25:1.
Your two cards plus the dealer's upcard form a poker-style combination. Flush, straight, three of a kind, straight flush, and suited three of a kind all pay at different rates.
Bet that the dealer will bust. The payout increases based on how many cards the dealer draws before busting. A dealer bust on 8 or more cards pays the maximum.
Your two cards plus the dealer's upcard total 19, 20, or 21. A suited 7-7-7 pays the top prize. A simple total of 19 pays the minimum qualifying payout.
Side bets carry a higher house edge than the main blackjack hand. They are fun to place occasionally, but if your goal is to play with the lowest possible house edge on kirkay, focus your budget on the main hand and use basic strategy consistently.
